Not at all! Just dip your dry toothbrush (or sprinkle the powder on), apply the powder, wet your brush and brush gently for two minutes. The biggest difference is that it won't foam like traditional toothpaste.

Our tooth powder is designed for everyday brushing. If you're prone to cavities, we recommend asking your dentist whether a fluoride-free routine is appropriate.
Children have different oral care needs depending on their age and cavity risk. We recommend checking with your child's dentist before replacing fluoride toothpaste with our tooth powder. Keep the powder out of reach of young children and supervise brushing.
We offer three options so you can choose what works best for your oral care routine. Xylitol — A popular choice for oral health Xylitol is a naturally occurring sugar alcohol commonly used in dental products. Unlike regular sugar, cavity-causing bacteria can't readily use it to produce enamel-damaging acids. Some research suggests regular exposure may also help reduce certain cavity-associated bacteria, although the additional cavity-prevention benefits are still being studied. IMPORTANT: Xylitol is extremely toxic to dogs. Keep xylitol-containing products away from pets. Erythritol — A tooth-friendly alternative Erythritol is another sugar alcohol that doesn't readily contribute to acid production in your mouth. Research suggests it may help reduce plaque buildup and certain cavity-associated bacteria. It's a great option if you want a sweetener with potential oral health benefits but prefer to avoid xylitol. Sweetener-Free — Just the essentials Prefer fewer ingredients? Our sweetener-free option skips both sugar alcohols while keeping the same mineral-based cleansing formula, including 10% micro-hydroxyapatite. It's a simple choice if you prefer an unsweetened brushing experience. Not sure which to choose? Xylitol is a familiar starting point, erythritol is a good alternative, and sweetener-free is ideal if you want to skip added sweetness altogether.
Each 2 oz jar lasts approximately 8–10 weeks for one person, depending on how much powder you use.
